About

Choose how many winning cards there are, or put your items on the cards, then deal. In turn, each person picks any face-down card and turns it over. In a hurry? Open every card at once.

Which card someone picks never changes the odds: the cards are shuffled with cryptographic randomness before anyone chooses, so every card is as likely as the next to win. When the round is over, play on with only the winners, or again without them.

More in Random Games

  • Draw a ladder for up to 12 people and follow each line down to a penalty or prize. Every outcome is equally likely, wherever you stand.

  • Spin a wheel of names or items to pick one at random. Whoever is picked can sit out the next spin, so everyone gets a turn.

  • Split a list of names into 2 to 20 random teams of even size, member by member or all at once.

  • Roll one to six six-sided dice at once and see the total. Fair, quick, and easy to read across the room.
