About
Random Games is a set of games for deciding things by chance around one shared screen: a ladder game (ghost leg), a roulette wheel, drawing lots, a team generator and dice. Type the names once, or paste a list, and they are waiting in every game, along with the penalties or prizes you hand out. Reset clears everything at once.
Every outcome is decided with the browser's cryptographic random generator before any animation starts, and the ladder is drawn so that every result is equally likely wherever you stand. Names, items and history stay in your browser and are never sent to SoftKoders. This is a beta service.
Features
From ladder game to dice roller
A ladder game, a roulette wheel, drawing lots, a team generator and dice, each on a page of its own.
One list for every game
Names and items carry over from game to game. Tap a name to sit someone out for a round.
Fair by design
Results come from cryptographic randomness before any animation, and the ladder is drawn so every outcome is equally likely.
Made for one screen
Big names, full screen for a TV or projector, and Space or a presentation clicker to play. The screen stays on while you play.
One by one, or all at once
Follow the ladder one person at a time, draw cards in turn, or watch teams fill up member by member.
Play on with the result
Play the next round with only who was picked, or without them, in one tap. Copy or share any result.
History and reset
Recent rounds from every game are kept. One Reset clears the lists and history, with Undo for a few seconds.
Stays in your browser
No sign-up. Lists and history are stored only in this browser and are never sent to our servers.
